Jessica Harrington's Bible Belt looks Group-class material after the filly routed the opposition in last night's EBF Hurry Harriet Stakes at Gowran Park.
Winner of a handicap at Leopardstown on her only start this season, the full sister to Bob Le Beau settled nicely for Shane Foley in the early stages. Kirinda made a move around the field but was soon running on empty as Hurricane Havoc attempted to make all.
However, just over a furlong out Bible Belt quickened up in fine style to end the race as a contest and she was heavily eased at the line by Foley to run out a five-length winner, with Hurricane Havoc holding off Sapphire for second.
Aidan O'Brien produced his 22nd juvenile winner of the season when Daddy Longlegs came from off the pace to make a successful debut in the opening maiden.
The Michael Tabor-owned colt headed the front-running Outback in the final 100 yards before going on to win by a length and a half in the hands of Joseph O'Brien.
Jim Bolger's Priomhbhean made all under Kevin Manning to edge out favourite Steps To Freedom in the McEnery Cup Handicap.
John Oxx's Dubawi Star took the nine-furlong handicap, while Ger Lyons and Keagan Latham combined as Greek Canyon defied top weight in the nursery, the 13/2 shot making all before fending off Jimtown and Money Spider.
