Paul Nicholls is keen on the chances of Five Dream as the champion trainer chases a second victory in the Galway Plate tomorrow week.

The Ditcheat handler saddled Oslot to success in the Ballybrit highlight in 2008 and feels Five Dream, second in a novice chase at Newton Abbot on his latest appearance, compares favourably.

"We targeted the race at Newton Abbot to get him ready for Galway and I think he is slightly better going right-handed," Nicholls stated.

"He did jump slightly right at Newton Abbot and a small field in a novice chase probably doesn't suit him, but he ran a good race and we have had Galway targeted since that day.

"He's probably a better horse than Oslot. This horse has always been talented, but maybe he has kept a bit back for himself and everything has to go right for him.

"The Galway Plate will probably be this horse's Gold Cup and that's why we're having a go at it. He's won on all sorts of ground, but good ground would suit him very well over this trip."
