Flynn's mare out to make her Mark

Pat Flynn's consistent mare She's Our Mark goes in search of more black type in the Group Three Give Thanks Stakes at Cork on Sunday.

The six-year-old has been running well all season but only has a Listed win at the Curragh to her name.

While this will be her 43rd career start, it will be just her second attempt at a mile and a half.

"She is in good form so we are hoping she will get placed," said Flynn.

"She has run a lot of races and she has been holding her form the whole time, so we are hoping that she can keep it up for the year because its a hard thing to keep a horse at the top of their game the whole time.

"We think she will get a mile and half no problem but she has to have a good cut in the ground.

"We're looking for more black type, that's what we are doing. Providing their is a cut in the ground she will keep going."
