Sligo's recuperation continues, hence Naas stages a replacement fixture tonight on the level.

It is rare for Alan Fleming to have a Flat winner, but he might tonight. Adimelo can score in the claimer under Billy Lee, who was relatively kind to the horse when he was not beaten far behind Tandem last time, having run freely. That form, in theory, gives him a big chance against some doubtful sorts.

The rated race over seven furlongs is the pick of the fare. Club Wexford has a fair chance now back over this trip, with Jim Bolger in fine form.

She may have two duck eggs before her name, but Victorious Secret has claims in the fillies' handicap. A tough sort, she probably needed the outing last time, and trainer Fozzy Stack has had a fine hit-rate so far.

There is a worry Birds Of Prey will be superficially short in the wagering in the nightcap, since his last run was when second to subsequent Derby hero Wings Of Eagles at two, but he should take some beating for John Oxx.

Highland Reel attempts a rare double when he bids to follow-up his Coronation Cup success in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot tomorrow, with Aidan O'Brien also fielding Johannes Vermeer in the nine-runner field.

Whitefountainfairy, bought last September for €3,000 before winning her second start for Jessica Harrington, yesterday fetched a whopping £300,000 at the Ascot sale.

Meanwhile, a fundraiser in aid of 19-year-old jockey Shane Prendergast will take place next Saturday night in the Hilltop Bar, Ballymurphy, Co. Carlow. All proceeds go towards the rehabilitation of the point-to-point rider, who was seriously injured in a fall earlier this month at Ballingarry.
