Pendra is the sole absentee for tomorrow's Randox Health Grand National, a dozen of the 40 Irish-trained.

Pendra's absence allows David Pipe's Doctor Harper in as bottom weight, to be joined by stablemates Vieux Lion Rouge, La Vaticane and Ballynagour. The Last Samuri heads the weights, bidding to go one better than 12 months ago, albeit now running off a 12lb higher mark.

Jonjo O'Neill's More Of That is next. Barry Geraghty takes the ride, with Jamie Codd steering Causes Of Causes. Gigginstown runs Roi Des Francs, Wounded Warrior, Measureofmydreams, Thunder And Roses and Rogue Angel. Former Gold Cup winner Lord Windermere runs; last year's RSA hero Blaklion represents Nigel Twiston-Davies and Noel Fehily. Champion trainer Paul Nicholls has five as he looks to win a second National: Saphir Du Rheu, Le Mercurey, Just A Par, Vincente and Wonderful Charm will all partake.

Unowhatimeanharry for JP McManus will be aimed at Punchestown after bypassing an outing in the Ryanair Liverpool Stayers Hurdle tomorrow.

Connections of the Harry Fry-trained nine-year-old opted to miss the Grade One at the Merseyside track and, as expected, Barry Geraghty will ride Champion Hurdle flop Yanworth.
