The bookmakers have Manchester United as odds-on favourites to beat Liverpool today, but it's over a year since the Red Devils came out on top against their old rivals, and backing the draw may prove sensible, priced around 13/5.
Liverpool have beaten United in four of the last seven Premier League meetings of the pair, although the fact that United have lost just two of their last 33 home league matches makes this fixture yet another intriguing affair.

Those who had backed Bog Warrior at 10/11 felt short-changed when he came acropper in the big novice chase at Leopardstown over Christmas, but they should be able to get their money back on the gelding today in the BBA Ireland Limited Opera Hat Novice Chase at Naas (1.50).
He was very impressive in his previous two outings over fences and should have at least half-a-dozen pounds in hand of his nearest rival, Blackstairmountain, priced around 10/11.
