Cork likely to go ahead

While Gowran Park's fixture tomorrow has been postponed due to snow, there's better news for Cork on Sunday. Cork officials report that they are in good shape with no snow on the track and there is favourable weather forecast.

The showpiece contest at the Mallow course is the O'Connell Group Hilly Way Chase, which has attracted 12 entries, including the Willie Mullins-trained Golden Silver, Osana from the Edward O'Grady yard, Tony Martin's Psycho, and Zaarito.

There are two Grade Three contests on the programme, the O'Connell Group Cork Stayers Novice Hurdle and a Novice Chase.

Cork are also scheduled to hold a fixture on Monday.

No new date has been arranged for the Gowran Park card.
