Cheltenham can create moments of sheer delight and Lisa O'Neill's parents' unbridled joy at watching their daughter record her first Festival winner is surely the moment of the week so far.

O'Neill illustrated her undoubted skill as a rider by guiding Triumph Hurdle champ Tiger Roll to victory in the JT McNamara National Hunt Chase.

It will be a memory to cherish for the Dubliner and her family.

Lisa is the daughter of former trainer and jockey Tommy O'Neill and mum Margaret and the proud pair were in The Fox Inn pub in Ashbourne to cheer her on.

The closing stages of the race and the ecstasy it created were captured on camera.

It was O'Neill's second win over fences with the other success coming in the Kerry National on board Gordon Elliott's Wrath Of Titans.

Speaking after her success yesterday, O'Neill said: "It's surreal, to be honest. It's an overwhelming feeling.

"I was just hoping up the hill that there was nothing there to pass me.

"It's a good team effort and it's absolutely brilliant."

Elliott said of the jockey: "She's decent and is an absolute star.

"She pre-trains our horses and does everything for us.

"She's an absolute star and I'm delighted for her."
