Murphy planning Doncaster work
Ferdy Murphy is taking a team of eight Cheltenham Festival possibles to work after racing at Doncaster on Saturday.
The North Yorkshire-based trainer has used this opportunity in the past and is keen to give all his entries at the big meeting the chance to rubber stamp their tickets to Prestbury Park the week after next.
Racegoers who stay on after the scheduled action at Town Moor will be able to see such stars as Kalahari King, who is a leading fancy for the Ryanair Chase, put through their paces.
"I'm taking eight to work after racing at Doncaster tomorrow," said Murphy.
"They all seem well, but we like to get a racecourse gallop into them. Doncaster have been very good in putting this on every year.
"Everything we have entered at Cheltenham will be there. One or two might not go to the Festival, but we will see how they work tomorrow first."
