Rachael Blackmore stole the show at Tramore with a sparkling 62/1 handicap hurdle double aboard Most Honourable and Oisin James.

Blackmore is the only female jump jockey to turn professional in Ireland in recent times. After she took the plunge last season, it was Most Honourable - a £600 cast-off sourced and trained by her boss John 'Shark' Hanlon - that got her off the mark in the paid ranks at Clonmel in September. She finished the season with six winners.

The same bargain buy had carried the retiring Andrew McNamara to a swansong victory at Tramore the previous month, and yesterday at odds of 8/1 he initiated a landmark first brace for Blackmore.

Cork-based Denise O'Shea's 6/1 shot Oisin James completed the feat under a determined drive from Blackmore.
