The Larry O'Shea-owned Whoops Jack has emerged as the new track sensation at Shelbourne following two remarkable runs over the past two weekends.

The first heat saw Pat Guilfoyle's Good News lead all the way for a two-length winning margin over Drive On Tipp while in the second heat the winner was Paul Hennessy's Jaytee Yankee as he held Kilgraney Ace by three parts of a length in 29.56.

The draw for Saturday's final is: 1 Drive On Tipp, 2 Good News, 3 Jaytee Yankee, 4 Coolavanny Mason, 5 Whoops Jack (w), 6 Kilgraney Ace (w).
