It will be a busy weekend for Irish dogs on the UK tracks this weekend and it kicks off with the Paul Hennessy-trained Jaytee Patriot contesting the third semi-final of the Coral Regency over 695 metres at Hove this evening.

Jaytee Patriot (7.48) was most impressive in the first round when he led all the way to win in 41.36. He is well drawn in trap six but this is an open contest despite the absence of in-season Huarache Madison.

His main rivals will be Aayamza Breeze and Rubys Rascal but if Jaytee Patriot can avoid a really bad start he must be the big fancy to lead the way into next week's final.

The other two heats can be won by Newlawn Simon (7.16) and Karlow Turbo (7.32).

There are two meetings in Ireland this evening, at Enniscorthy and Curraheen Park.

The semi-finals of the Consolation National Sales Stake will be run at Curraheen and the opening heat can be won by Mays Madrinho (7.50), while in the second heat Niall Dunne's Fast Fit Oak can lead home.
