Jaytee Jet, winner of the Dundalk International on his last appearance, headlines the BoyleSports Champion Stakes which commences at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.

The valuable pre-Derby warm-up major invariably attracts a high-class entry and this is very much the case again with all three semi-finals full of new and old stars of the track.

Jayee Jet will have a formidable task in the first heat with the likes of Good News and Drive On Tipp heading the opposition and, remember, only two will qualify from each of the heats.

English Derby challengers Swithins Brae and Jaytee Yankee will contest Heat 2 where fast-starting Black Farren and Kilgraney Ace will have strong support.

Heat 3 is arguably the hottest contest with Coolavanny Mason and Sonic opposed by the likes of Tyrur Harold, Away Jet, Hovex Mick and Whoops Jack.

Meanwhile, Ger Kiely's Airmount Tess is a strong favourite with BoyleSports for the final of the Gain Corn Cuchulainn at Shelbourne tomorrow night, where she will run from trap one as she bids to become the first greyhound to win the event in successive years.

Tonight's meeting at Shelbourne will be a graded affair and two to note can be Paul Hennessy's Go On Ronnie (8.13) and Peter Cronin's Market Brexit (8.28).
