Gilroy Kate is very well drawn in two and is the likely leader but she may be susceptible to the big-finishing kick from Jacqui McCann's Haliska Rubra (9.25), which is likely to get a lovely run along the inside.

The fast-starting Canal View Jenny can dispute the lead with Gilroy Kate early and they may not help each other. Haliska Rubra is dropping in grade after taking on Skywalker Luke on his latest outing and he will be hard to beat.

Tommy Bolton, trainer of Gilroy Kate, could have better luck in the A2 tenth race where Iceroad Lake (10.15) is in with a real chance on her best form. She was noted running on strongly in second behind Canal View Jenny last week and a repeat performance would see her go very close here.

Free admission

Youghal Track stage regular gala Bank Holiday meetings and there will be another on Monday, with the card featuring the final of the Droopys Stud Champion Stakes.

The Denis Fitzgerald-trained Oaklands Paddy will be the big fancy for the feature race.

A large family crowd is anticipated for what is planned to be a real family occasion with plenty of attractions for the kids and, of course, free admission for all.

There will be free admission. Racing will be starting early at 6.59.
