There should be a very good attendance at Shelbourne tonight where the heats of the Shelbourne Unraced Sales Stakes will be run.
Owners John Kennedy and Sandra Guilfoyle have paid almost €2,400 to enter the hugely rated Good News in the competition. He was the medium of a €43,000 bid at the Sales but was led away unsold and connections have decided to run him in the €10,000-to-the-winner main stake.
Good News (9.43) goes from six trap in Heat 2 and will be a red-hot favourite to win with Express Milano and Ainthehandsome the main dangers. Others worth noting are Ian Reilly's Deanridge Casba (9.28), Jimmy Buckley's Jumeirah Bran (9.58) and Pat Buckley's Coolavanny Buck (10.13).
Racegoers are reminded that there will be no Dublin Bus transport today or tomorrow as the 48-hour strike will keep the buses off the roads until Saturday. The Dublin Coach service from the City Centre will operate on both evenings.
