Ballymac Matt has been installed the 9/4 favourite for the Marshes Shopping Centre International at Dundalk on Sunday.

It could be argued that at least five of the runners are badly drawn, the exception being Cable Bay which is officially seeded inside for the race but has been running as a middle seed.

Trap six shouldn't be any great inconvenience to him, particularly as the four dogs on his immediate inside will be heading for the rails.

Ballymac Matt will go from four but he has the dead railer Paradise Silva on his outer and this fellow is never happy until he is positioned on the inside rail.

The draw is: 1 Making Paper, 2 Paradise Maverik, 3 Swift Keith, 4 Ballymac Matt, 5 Paradise Silva, 6 Cable Bay.

Meanwhile, the entries came flowing in yesterday for the Gain Corn Cuchulainn at Harold's Cross and the event will definitely commence on Friday night.

The list includes Droopys Oddysey, Fire Height Amy, Tradition, Kiltrea Roisin, Razldazl Rubin, Ballymac Bonnie, Kilcrea Hawk, Whaoo Wheoo, Uncle Paul, Shaneboy Francie, Shaneboy Sue. The draw is due to be made this morning.

There was a dramatic finale to the Track Supporters' Munster Derby at Clonmel on Sunday when Frances O'Donnell's Scooby The Star recovered from a bad start to snatch a neck victory in 28.84.
