Three-time major champion Padraig Harrington accepted the challenge of trying to play a 135-yard approach shot between two threes and on to a tiny 9 foot landing area but amazingly he pops it in the hole... while blindfolded.

His long-time caddie Ronan Flood deserves a huge amount of credit for the miracle shot.

After an air-shot, being almost hit by a ball which rebounded back off one of the trees and a number of shots using different techniques, the Dubliner made the impossible happen.

The challenge was set by HSBC, sponsors of the Open Championship, and filmed at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club in Dublin.

If he can pull this kind of shot off maybe he can lift the Claret Jug for a third time at Hoylake this week.
