Rookie Matteo Mansassero headed for US Masters with leap up Euro rankings

Nineteen-year-old Matteo Manassero is on course for a return to the US Masters after his third European Tour victory in the Barclays Singapore Open.

The Italian, who beat South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen with an eagle on the third play-off hole, climbs all the way from 85th to 46th in the world rankings - and the top 50 at the end of the year earn Augusta invitations.



Oosthuizen now stands at a career-high sixth after moving up four places.
