ROGANSTOWN Golf and Country Club, where the Welsh soccer team were based ahead of last night's Carling Nations Cup match, made a nice presentation to Gary Speed on Tuesday night.

Speed is in his first job as an international manager and Roganstown obtained a programme of his first match for Wales as a player -- against Costa Rica in 1990 -- and a programme for the game against the Republic, and put them in a large frame.

Ian McGuinness, MD of Roganstown, said: "Gary was delighted and we hope he will treasure the memento."
