Power books his ticket for PGA tour

Irish Olympian Séamus Power has earned his card for next season's PGA Tour after finishing ninth on the Web.com Tour money list for 2016.
The Waterford native, who finished in 15th place at the recent games in Rio, tied for 11th at the Portland Open on Sunday, ensuring his spot within the top 25 earners of the developmental competition, having taken home $209,590 in winnings.
In May the 29-year-old became the first Irish golfer to win an event on the Web.com Tour after finishing top of the leaderboard at the United Leasing & Finance Championship.
