Olivia Mehaffey performing well at Amateurs in Estonia

Teenage sensation Olivia Mehaffey is the best placed Irish player at the European Ladies' Amateur Championship in Estonia.
The Royal County Down star improved on her opening-round 75 as she produced a solid level-par round of 72. The 16-year-old Irish girls champion sits eight strokes off Spanish leader Noemi Jimenez.
Lisburn's Paula Grant is one shot behind Mehaffey. The Maguire twins continued to struggle, Leona posting a two-over-par 74 to be six-over for the tournament, while Lisa sits on 10-over-par. Castletroy's Chloe Ryan is far down the leaderboard on 14-over-par.
Meanwhile, in the European Young Masters in Hamburg, Jordan Logue from Hilton Templepatrick and Waterford's Michael Cooke both struggled in the first round, carding 78 and 82. German Max Schmitt sets the pace on 65.
The girls fared somewhat better, with Niamh McSherry from Lurgan carding a level-par 71 and Julie McCarthy from Forrest Little taking 79. German Alexandra Forsterling leads the way on 67.
