Jordan Spieth's rise to the top in the game of golf has been rewarded with a bumper contract with Coca-Cola.
The world number one today revealed he will be the new face of the soft drinks giant and while there are no exact details of the figures involved, the American will earn tens of millions from the deal.
The link up with Coca-Cola will see Spieth appear on TV commercials, on product packaging and on social media.
"Coca-Cola has always been associated with iconic sporting events and some of the world's greatest athletes, so this is an incredibly cool opportunity for me," Spieth said in a statement.
"As a brand ambassador, I look forward to growing awareness for the sport of golf globally and engaging with fans in exciting new ways."
Spieth earned a mouth-watering $53m last year, on and off the course, ensuring that Tiger Woods was knocked off golf's top earner's list for the first time in 13 long years.
McIlroy came in in fourth on that list with Phil Mickelson second and Woods third.
