THREE of Ireland's top links courses -- all voted in the world's top 100 by 'Golf World' magazine earlier this year -- have joined forces with a fantastic offer for golfers.
The Great Irish Links Challenge will take place at Doonbeg, Ballybunion and Lahinch from May 22-25, 2011. The event, sponsored by Taylor Made with Shannon Development, tees off with a welcome reception at Doonbeg on Sunday, May 22, and closes at the same venue with an awards dinner.
The entry fee of €545 per person includes daily breakfast, transport to the three courses, prizes and the final presentation dinner, when the overall winner will be revealed.
Ryder Cup vice-captain Paul McGinley is an enthusiastic supporter of The Great Irish Links Challenge.
"Here in Ireland we are so lucky to have so many great links courses," he said. "To have the opportunity to play and compare three of the very best over three days is fantastic." Check out www.greatirishlinkschallenge.com for details.
