It's plain sailing for Shipp

Headfort hold a 3-2 lead over Woodbrook after the first leg of the Barton Cup, but they face a tough trip away on September 3.
Our hat's off to 13-year-old Evan Shipp, who is one of the stars of the Headfort side, in partnership with Brian Dunne, as the Co. Meath club bids to repeat its Barton Cup win of 1994.
"That was the only time we ever won it," said team manager and Headfort President Kieran Walsh, who has high hopes for young Shipp on away territory.
"He is about the size of a driver," he joked. "But he is an eight handicapper and he's a great little player. He hits it 200 yards straight down the middle."
