Gowran Park proved to be the Leinster thoroughbreds in the Irish Junior Foursomes as they powered their way to the blue pennant at Blainroe.

The team of Jack Foley, Ciaran Whelan, Mackenzie Davin, Ben Whelan and Conor Cleere beat Elm Park on the fourth tie hole in the semi-finals, then went to the first tie hole in the final, beating Corrstown to claim overall victory.

Manager Liam O'Dwyer has had a busy summer, steering his young squad to victory in Waterford Group Qualifying, where they topped the strokeplay qualifiers, then beat Kilkenny and Enniscorthy to advance to the finals, where they were just too good for a brave Corrstown.
