Fog wreaked havoc with the 119th Amateur Championship and officials were battling last night to reschedule play so as to get the event back on track.
Play was suspended for the day at 7.0 at both Royal Portrush and neighbouring Portstewart.
Players were being informed of the revised draw by email, text, the R&A twitter account and the Championship website later last night when officials had worked things out.
Jack Hume, who fired a one under par 69 at Portrush on Monday, was level par at Portstewart yesterday after 12 holes. Cormac Sharvin started with three straight pars, while Robin Dawson was one-over-par after nine holes after a 71 on Monday. Gareth Lappin was five-over overall, but level par yesterday.
