ROSS FISHER defied a determined Sunday afternoon charge by Padraig Harrington to win last year's Irish Open in Killarney, but the Englishman is dogged by thoughts of 'the one that got away' on the shores of Lough Leane.
Though he shot a sensational course-record 61 in the second round, Fisher knows he came tantalisingly close to a historic first 59 on the European Tour that day. "It definitely was there for the taking," he recalls. "I missed an eight-footer on 15 which would have given me a really good chance."
