Each month, from March to October inclusive, we will present two awards – one for GUI members and one for ILGU members who produce notable performances in club competition.

You might have enjoyed one superb notable performance or a series of winning results.

Perhaps you have done something special, such as scoring two holes in one in a round.

Or maybe you will go out and win a club 'major' such as a captain's or president's prize – or both!

Whatever your achievement, we want you to have a chance of national recognition and special memories.

Our monthly award winners will be feted at the superb Druids Glen Resort, home of two marvellous championship golf courses – Druids Glen and Druids Heath.

Major champions Seve Ballesteros, Ernie Els, Bernhard Langer, Nick Faldo, John Daly, Jose-Maria Olazabal, Padraig Harrington, Ian Woosnam, Sandy Lyle, Angel Cabrera, Retief Goosen have all graced this internationally renowned venue with their talents.

In addition, Colin Montgomerie and Sergio Garcia became Irish Open champions at Druids Glen.

The Resort is set in a beautiful scenic setting in County Wicklow, only 30 minutes from Dublin city centre.

It features a five-star hotel and spa and offers fine dining facilities and accommodation.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to win one of our monthly awards.

All you have to do is play your golf, enjoy your success and tell us about it. Alternatively, you might like to nominate another golfer who deserves to be honoured.

Details of the entry process and the prizes are included on the entry form below. Read them carefully, follow the instructions, and post them to the Irish Independent Sports Department, 27-32 Talbot St, Dublin 1.

Deadline for entries for the March awards is Monday, April 7.
