Confirmed: Three Irish golfers have qualified for the Olympics in Brazil

Ireland's top golfers may not be competing but the Irish Olympic Team has still managed to qualify three players for next month's games in Rio.
After the withdrawal of Rory Mcilroy, Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell, Padraig Harrington and Seamus Power look set to be the Irish pair in Rio after the duo finished in the top 60 to qualify.
Leona Maguire finished in the women's top 60 to book her place also, after the International Golf Federation published their rankings this afternoon.
Paul McGinley is in charge of the Irish golf team.
The men's event will take place between August 11 and 14 at the Reserva de Marapendi golf course while the women's event takes place at the same venue between August 17 and 20.
