Manchester City players fill five positions in Gianluigi Buffon's Premier League XI.

Arsenal are next best represented with three players in the Italian legend's team, leaving room for two Chelsea stars and one from Tottenham.

It means that the Juventus goalkeeper, who selected his Premier League XI for ShortList magazine, did not pick a single player from Manchester United, Liverpool or table-topping Leicester City.

Given that United and Liverpool are struggling to even make the top four this season, it probably isn't that surprising that the legendary shot-stopper has opted not to pick players from either team when assembling his alll-star 4-3-3 selection.
