Gareth Bale makes Rayo Vallecano defender cry

Published 04/11/2013 | 16:28

Rayo Vallecano defender Anaitz Arbilla was so upset at making the mistake that allowed Gareth Bale to set-up Ronaldo for Real’s third goal in the 3-2 win at Vallecano on Saturday night he started to cry.

Arbilla was reduced to a blubbery mess when he was substituted after the incident.

Warming up before kick-off on Saturday in Vallecas, home of Rayo Vallecano, the lowest-budget club in Spain's top tier, Bale was welcomed by a banner from the home fans: "We're poor but we're proud, and we've got balls like fists."

Bale appears to be finally finding his feet with the Spanish giants after two impressive displays in a row.
