It might be 14 years since he last donned the green and gold of the Kingdom, but Maurice Fitzgerald still looked the part when he took the field for St Mary's on Wednesday night.
The 46-year-old Fitzgerald raised more than a few eyebrows when these pictures emerged of him using his considerable skills against Gneeveguilla in the Kerry Senior Football League Division 2 in Killarney tonight.
Widely lauded as on the greatest players of his generation, Fitzgerald won two All-Ireland medals during his a 13-year inter-county career, in addition to six Munster titles and a National League title. He was also awarded an All Star on three occasions.
