'We'll relish shot at Cork' - Cavan boss

Conor Barry insists that his Cavan side will "relish" the chance to pit themselves against champions Cork in the quarter-finals of the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies SFC on August 20.

Aisling Doonan scored 1-6 for Cavan and Roisín O'Keeffe chipped in with 0-5 against a Laois side that had Noirín Kirwan in dazzling form.

Cavan were a point up at the break, 0-6 to 0-5, and O'Keeffe put Cavan two points clear on the resumption.

Laois were level four times before the tide turned in Cavan's favour again when they registered 1-2 in two minutes, including Doonan's goal.

Meaghan Dunne crashed home a stunning goal for Laois but Cavan held on for the win.
