Dublin were crowned U-21 All-Ireland ladies football champions after comfortably seeing off Meath in Clane on Saturday.

Dublin 6-9 Meath 1-8

Dublin's captain Siobhan Woods led by example as her two second-half goals inspired her side to victory. Niamh Rickard also scored a brace as a rampant Dublin put six goals passed their opponents.

Meath trailed by 10 points at the break but were completely outplayed in what was a one-sided second half.

Player of the match Carla Rowe was outstanding throughout and, as soon as she began to control the game, Dublin were well on their way to claiming the Aisling McGing Cup.
