Reigning champions Donaghmoyne called on all their resolve to overcome Cork's Mourneabbey in Fontenoy Park in this high-quality and nail-biting encounter.

The visitors led at the break, 1-4 to 0-5, thanks to a goal from captain Bríd O'Sullivan, but the Monaghan side battled back and started the second-half with Hazel Kingham finding the net.

Doireann O'Sullivan brought the sides level 12 minutes from time, but Caitriona McConnell and Cora Courtney struck to secure yet another place in the decider.
