10-25! The Ladies SFC had one of the most lopsided scorelines you’ll ever see today

Nobody wants to see scores like this. Cavan played Down in the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies SFC qualifiers in Clones today and won by a staggering 37 points in a 10-25 to 0-3 destruction.

Playing at corner forward, Aisling Doonan contributed a remarkable 3-10, while Down trailed by more 20 points at half time. However, it appears that the scoreboard in Clones wasn’t equipped to deal with such a free-scoring team.

Amazingly, Down won the All-Ireland ladies intermediate championship last year, but they have lost many players from that victorious team. They also suffered a heavy defeat in the Ulster championship last month, going down to Donegal by a score of 10-35 to 0-4.
