Donal Óg Cusack pulled no punches whatsoever as he laid into the Cork GAA officials on tonight's Sunday Game.

Following a miserable weekend that saw the Cork footballers AND hurlers bow out of their respective All Irelands, the RTE pundit took aim and fired with Frank Murphy and the Cork County Board firmly in his sights.

Watch it here:

Cusack claimed that Murphy was surrounded by "yes men and stooges" and said "Frank Murphy knows more about high performance sport than I know about the sleeping habits of the ayatollah!".

Cork manager Jimmy Barry Murphy was also targeted with Cusack comparing him to a "substitute school teacher in a poor school that is doing its best, the pupils are doping their best but the principle and the school are just a bad school.

"There are people who must tale responsibility for this result today and. of course, Frank Murphy is the don of GAA and this weekend has been a particularly bad weekend for hurling in Cork. He has a responsibility but I think there is a group of people around Frank, a group of stooges and yes men."

His epic Sunday Game rant gathered plenty of support on Twitter, too.
