Just seconds after a heartbreaking Munster Hurling Final defeat to Tipperary, Waterford's Austin Gleeson took the time to make one young fan's day with a classy gesture.
Looking for a first Munster title for five years, you could have forgiven Gleeson if he stormed down the tunnel to bury his head in his hands in the dressing room following the Thurles defeat.
But Deise youngster Gleeson, 20, took time to sign autographs for fans and he also had a heartwarming message for one 11-year-old autograph hunter.
Former Tippp goalkeeper Brendan Cummins tweeted how the young fan asked Gleeson to sign his hurley before the Waterford centre back engaged in a conversation and told the delighted youngster that they might win an All Ireland together some day.
The world needs more Austin Gleesons.
