WATCH: Peter Flanagan talks about his passion for making hurls

Independent.ie Sportsdesk

Waterford native Peter Flanagan is a proud Hurley maker from Tramore and has been supplying hurls to great players such as Ken McGrath, Austin Gleeson and Michael ‘Brick’ Walsh.

Working as a Hurley maker with his entire extended family from the back of a cowshed on the family farm in Knockenduff , he hopes that his children will one day take over the family business.

Watch his story as part of Centra’s #WeAreHurling campaign ahead of this weekend's first All-Ireland SHC semi-final between defending All-Ireland champions Tipperary and Division 1 League champions Galway.
