Hurlers in Tipperary took part in a very novel game of hurling to mark the summer solstice.
The Red Bull Longest Day Hurling Tournament saw 5-a-side teams battle it out from dawn till dusk underneath the iconic Rock of Cashel.
Galway hurler and Red Bull athlete Joe Canning was there on the day to oversee the event and to crown local club Cashel King Cormacs the Longest Day Champions for 2015.
The format saw the pitch shortened to 65 metres and the teams were only permitted to score goals.
