Sky Sports viewers in the UK again showed their astonishment, respect and confusion over the game of hurling during tonight’s qualifier between Tipperary and Galway.

Eamon O’Shea’s side emerged victorious in a high scoring encounter in Thurles, ending Galway’s participation in the 2014 championship on a scoreline of 3-25 to 4-13.

Spectators were treated to a high-quality affair, but for viewers in the UK, they are still finding their feet with the small-ball game.
