The Clare side's superstar Tony Kelly has played in six Munster finals in his career and has won all six.

They won their first Clare senior title this year and can now add a provincial crown to their county success.

The teams traded three points each early on before Pearse Lillis pounced with a goal for the eventual winners after 13 minutes.

Ballyea put clear water between themselves and the Cork side by scoring seven of the last eight points of the half to lead by 1-10 to 0-4 at the break.

Glen Rovers did hit back with a brace of goals from Conor Dorris early in the second half to close the gap to three but Ballyea reasserted their dominance to run out eight point winners.
