Jimmy Barry-Murphy also has Mark Ellis and Cormac Murphy, who both missed the semi-final with injury, back to bolster a defence that conceded 2-23 to Dublin last time out.

Ryan takes over from Damien Cahalane. The Midleton man was a late inclusion to the Rebels' squad list against the Dubs and has reportedly played well in recent challenges against Laois and Kilkenny.

Cork also have several positional changes; William Kearney and Luke O'Farrell are the two others who lose out.

Elsewhere, RTE have signed up Henry Shefflin as a TV and radio analyst in the first summer of his retirement.
