Raymond leaves Sligo one step from Croker
Sligo 1-26 Lancashire 0-15
Last year's finalists Sligo edged closer to a return to Croke Park with a 14-point defeat of Lancashire in Birmingham.
If Declan Loughnane's charges avoid defeat at home to Leitrim in their final round-robin game on Saturday they will win a place in the decider.
The visitors enjoyed a blistering start and were six points ahead by the mid-point of the opening period.
But Lancashire reduced the gap to just two points by the half-time whistle, 0-13 to 0-11.
The second period was a different affair as Sligo pulled clear, Michael Gilmartin coming off the bench to nab the only goal.
Lancashire managed a couple of late points, but top scorer Keith Raymond and Sean Kenny rounded off the scoring to seal Sligo's win.
