Wicklow had to work hard to beat Trinity and it was only in the last 10 minutes they pulled clear.

They played most of the game with 14 players after Peter Keane was sent off for a second yellow, but overcame the deficit to progress into the Kehoe Cup final.

The teams were evenly matched until Ronan Keddy pounced to score a goal. Another two quick points left Wicklow in control as they led by five. Although Trinity stormed back to be just a point behind at half-time, 1-7 to 0-9, they will rue two penalties saved by Wicklow's Eoghan O'Mahony.

Wicklow extended their lead early in the second half but a Donnacha Butler goal levelled the match. That was as good as it got though for Trinity as Wicklow outscored them by 2-4 to a 0-1 in the final 15 minutes for the win.
