Kevin O'Loughlin led the way as London crushed Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park on Saturday and set up a quarter-final meeting with Down next Saturday.

The Exiles tore into the home side from the opening whistle and quickly pulled clear.

By the 13th minute they were six ahead, with O'Loughlin and Edmund Kenny in superb form in the full-forward line.

London's passing, movement and ball-winning ability was streets ahead of their opponents as they picked off score after score with relative ease.

Roscommon didn't open their account until the 15th minute.

Once PJ Rowe netted in the 16th minute to put nine between the sides, London could look to the next round. Further goals from Martin Duggan and O'Loughlin extend the lead to 22 points by the break.

Roscommon did hit 1-3 in the third quarter, with the goal coming from a Johnny Coyne flick.

The pace of the game slowed for a period but London were merely going through the motions. And they maintained control in the final quarter to run out convincing winners, with 11 players getting on the scoresheet.
