Dooley scored 1-10 and played a big part in both Joe Bergin's goals as the Faithful exacted revenge on the Kingdom for their defeat in the league.

Offaly led by 1-9 to 0-11 at the break despite playing into a strong breeze but Bergin;s second half goals were enough to see them through.

Westmeath made it three out of three in the round robin series with a narrow 0-22 to 2-15 win over a spirited Carlow side in Dr Cullen Park.

The Lakesiders will meet Galway in the quarter-finals while Offaly will come up against near-neighbours Laois.
