At no stage did Antrim's place in the Ulster senior final look in doubt as they comfortably put Derry to the sword yesterday.

It didn't take them long to stamp their authority on a depleted Derry.

By the time PJ O'Connell rattled in Antrim's first goal, they had a 0-11 to 0-5 lead and the defending Ulster champions went in at the break with a 1-16 to 0-5 lead.

Antrim continued the second half at a canter, with well-worked goals from Ciaran Clarke and substitute Sean McAfee.

Niall McKenna impressed and although Derry did respond with scores, the result was never in doubt.
