Tyrone qualified for the Division 3A final with a seven-point win over Monaghan at Cloghan yesterday.

With 1-8 by the prolific Damien Casey and a brace of goals from Matthew Mulgrew, Tyrone built on a strong start to beat Monaghan, who finished their campaign with back-to-back defeats after four wins had put them in the driving seat.

The result was put beyond any doubt 10 minutes from time when Mulgrew netted for the second time and Monaghan finished with 13 men after Donal Meegan and substitute Bernard Connor were sent off.
