Listen: Kilkenny fan whose act of compassion went viral gets a heartwarming phonecall from her 'hero' Henry Shefflin

One of the moment's of the GAA season took place last weekend after Kilkenny edged Waterford in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final replay when a Cats supporter comforted distraught Deise star Pauric Mahony at the final whistle.

GAA fans from around the country were touched when Jennifer Malone, from Kildare, put her arm around the Waterford forward following Kilkenny's two-point win.

The image generated a lot of attention online and one legend of the black and amber was particularly moved by it.

Jennifer's mum Donna was a interviewed on KCLR Live by John Masterson today, where she mentioned that her daughter's hero was 'King Henry'.

Moments later, Henry Shefflin called in to pay tribute to Jennifer in a heartwarming moment.
